BALMAIN PARIS X PURE

Pierre Balmain S.A., also known as Balmain for short, was founded in 1945 by Pierre Balmain himself. The young Balmain, who would eventually become the French mogul we know him as today, envisioned his brand to be a luxury fashion label that specialized in couture techniques and bold looks. He began his career in good company, working alongside Dior and Hubert de Givenchy. This beginning allowed him to learn the ropes of the fashion industry firsthand and ultimately achieve immediate success when he started his own line. Today, Balmain’s signature remains constant in being known for elegance yet bold designs, timeless colors and one of a kind embellishments. 
Some argue that one of the ways Balmain has continued its popularity is through leveraging social media. On-boarding celebrities such as Kim Kardashion and Kanye West to showcase new lines has been a way for the brand to continue growing its following in every demographic. Balmain now operates an exclusive 16 stores and works with key partnerships, like Pure, to deliver products to the public.
