Designer sizing varies by brand and style. Use this guide to measure yourself, then check the product description for fit notes. Still unsure? Our stylists are happy to help.
How to measure
| Chest |
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms, keeping the tape level. |
| Waist |
Measure around your natural waistline, where you normally wear your pants. |
| Hips |
Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips. |
| Inseam |
Measure a pair of pants that fits you well, from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg. |
Denim
Designer denim is sized by waist in inches, so a 32 fits a 32-inch waist. If you are between sizes, choose the larger size for a relaxed fit or the smaller size for a close fit, since many premium jeans ease slightly with wear.
Tees, hoodies and sweatsuits
Look for the fit in the product name or description. Pieces labeled skate, oversized or boxy are cut roomy, so consider your usual size or one size down. Pieces labeled slim fit closer to the body, so consider sizing up if you prefer room.
